Designing a CRM people don't want to mute

OUR STORY

Most of us wear a fraction of what we own, because putting an outfit together takes time that mornings don't have. Hangr turns the clothes already in your cupboard into outfits for every occasion.

THE WORK

As sole designer, I reframed Hangr from a wardrobe organiser into a daily styling decision tool, built around occasion, Western or ethnic preference, and comfort. I defined the design principles, storyboarded real scenarios, mapped six user flows and built a modular component system, then validated the experience through prototype testing cycles with real users.

01. THE PROBLEM

Designed for the brand, not the person

Users face a daily decision: Western or ethnic? An unorganised wardrobe makes items hard to find, and varied occasions like office, college, festivals and weddings each need a different look. Comfort needs also change through the month. As a result, users spend too long deciding, repeat the same few outfits and leave much of their wardrobe unworn.
